I am a cognitive psychologist and neuroscientist. I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Stony Brook University. Before coming to Stony Brook, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Dynamic Cognition Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, and I completed my PhD at Temple University.
My research interests include cognitive aging, individual differences in memory and attention, and everyday cognition. Much of the work conducted in the lab has an eye towards developing or identifying interventions or strategies that might improve everyday cognition in older adults. I use a variety of psychological and neuroscientific methods in my research. You can read more about my lab by visiting "The Cognitive Aging and Memory Lab" page. I also teach courses on a variety of topics in cognitive psychology, developmental psychology and cognitive neuroscience. You can find more about my courses by visiting the "Teaching" tab. |
