Graduate Student – Timothy Brackins Tim is a first-year graduate student in the cognitive PhD program. He is interested in studying individual differences, working memory, goal-directed executive functioning and the mediation of cognitive decline across the lifespan. Lab Manager- Julia Kearley Julia graduated with her M.A. in Experimental Psychology from Iona College, focusing on neuroscience research. She is very passionate about investigating hippocampal memory processes and how performance on hippocampal-dependent tasks may mediate age-related declines in cognition. Undergraduate Researchers: We also welcome three new talented undergraduate researchers, Jackie Ho, Amanda Truppo and Joli Vidal. Jackie is majoring in psychology (B.A.) and minoring in computer science and digital arts. She is excited to investigate how we can develop accessible technological solutions to help individuals in their everyday lives. Amanda is also a psychology (B.A.) major and is minoring in medicine health and society. Combining her passions for cognitive and clinical psychology, Amanda hopes to eventually pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. Joli is a psychology major (B.S.) on the pre-med track and minoring in health and wellness. She is interested in the biological processes that facilitate learning and memory.
